Ampe Rush · Legal
Advertising, Cookies & Similar Technologies
Last updated: 16 October 2026 · Effective: 16 October 2026
The short version
- We don't show ads that interrupt play. An ad plays only when you tap to watch one, for a continue or a reward.
- Google serves the ads: AdMob in the apps, AdSense (H5 Games Ads) in the web game. Google collects some data when an ad loads.
- In the EEA, UK and Switzerland, Google asks for your consent before personalised ads. On iPhone, Apple's tracking prompt lets you say no. You can change these choices at any time.
- We set no cookies of our own. The game keeps its settings and sign-in on your device, and Google's ad script may use cookies when an ad loads.
1.How ads work in Ampe Rush
- Ads only play when you choose. There are no pop-up or between-runs ads, no banners and no autoplaying video. Each ad starts only after you tap a "watch" button.
- You can watch a rewarded ad to:
- continue a run after a loss: up to 3 times per run;
- earn 200 cowries: at least 20 seconds apart, with an anti-fraud ceiling of 100 a day;
- earn 1 medallion in the store: up to 5 a day.
- If you close an ad early, or no ad is available, you get no reward and nothing else changes.
- Future changes. We may one day add other ad formats, such as an occasional ad between runs. If we do, we will update this notice and tell you in the game before the change. Players who own No Ads will never see them (see Virtual Items).
2.Who serves the ads
| Where | Ad service | Consent tools |
|---|---|---|
| iOS and Android apps | Google AdMob | Google's consent message (User Messaging Platform). On iOS, Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt. |
| Web game (ampe.wontah.com/play) | Google AdSense: H5 Games Ads (Ad Placement API) | Google's consent message for the EEA, UK and Switzerland, and your browser's settings |
Google uses the data it collects through ads under its own privacy policy, and it acts as an independent controller for personalised advertising. See How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services. We use no other ad networks, and we do not use mediation.
3.What data is used for ads
- Google may collect: your device's advertising ID (the Android advertising ID or app set ID; on iOS, the IDFA only if you allow tracking), your IP address (used to estimate your general location), device and app or browser information, ad interactions, and diagnostics. It uses them to serve, limit, measure and personalise ads, and to detect fraud.
- What we give Google: for a rewarded ad, the game passes your player ID, the run ID (if any) and the reward type. Google sends these back to our server in a signed confirmation with a transaction ID, so we grant each reward exactly once. We give Google no name, email or gameplay history.
- What Google gives us: aggregated ad reports (for example how many ads were shown, and earnings), and the reward confirmations above.
4.Your choices
- EEA, UK and Switzerland: the first time ads are needed, Google's message asks whether you consent to personalised ads and to storing or reading information on your device. You can accept, decline or choose by purpose. If you decline, Google may show non-personalised or limited ads, or none.
- Change your mind in the app: open Settings → Privacy options to see Google's message again.
- iPhone and iPad: if you choose "Ask App Not to Track", your IDFA is not shared. Change it any time in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking. Facebook sign-in then uses Facebook Limited Login.
- Android: reset or delete your advertising ID in Settings → Google → Ads, or Settings → Privacy → Ads (wording varies by device).
- Web and any device: turn off personalised ads from Google at myadcenter.google.com, and block or clear third-party cookies in your browser.
- Simplest of all: don't tap "watch". If you never start an ad, no ad loads.
5.Cookies and storage on your device
"Cookies and similar technologies" means small files or data saved on your device and read back later. That includes browser cookies, local storage, app storage and device identifiers. We set no cookies of our own, on the web game or on these pages. What we and Google store:
| What | Set by | Why | Type | How long |
|---|---|---|---|---|
Device ID, session token, cached profile and player ID (storage keys starting ampe., or app storage) | Ampe Rush | Keep you signed in and keep your account on this device | Strictly necessary | Until you delete the app or clear site data |
| Settings: sound, language, tutorial progress, cached scores, purchases owned, dismissed banners | Ampe Rush | Remember your choices and work offline | Functional | Until you delete the app or clear site data |
| Ad pacing: when you first opened the game and when an ad last played | Ampe Rush | Enforce the time gaps between ads | Functional | Until you delete the app or clear site data |
| Analytics ID, first-seen date and a queue of up to 500 unsent events | Ampe Rush (sent to PostHog) | Understand how the game is played (see Privacy Policy 2.7) | Analytics | Until you delete the app or clear site data. Events are sent within seconds. |
| Offline copy of the game files (service worker cache) | Ampe Rush | Let the web game load fast and play offline | Strictly necessary | Until the next update or until you clear site data |
Advertising cookies and identifiers (for example __gads, __gpi, IDE), and the device advertising ID | Serve, limit, measure and (with consent where required) personalise ads, and prevent fraud | Advertising | Set by Google. Typically up to 13 months for cookies. | |
| Consent choice | Google (consent message) | Remember your ad consent | Strictly necessary | Set by Google, typically up to 13 months |
Google's ad cookies load only when an ad is requested. These legal pages set no cookies, load no third-party content, and use no analytics.
6.Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control
There is no agreed standard for Do Not Track, so we do not respond to it. The web game does not currently act on Global Privacy Control signals by itself. Please use the choices in section 4, which work everywhere. US residents can also email us with the subject "Privacy" (see Privacy Policy 11.3).
7.Ads and younger players
Ampe Rush is for players aged 13 and over and is not directed to children. Where local law sets a higher age for consenting to personalised ads (up to 16 in parts of the EEA), players below that age should not consent without a parent or guardian. Parents can switch off personalised ads using the choices above. See Children & Families.

Questions about ads or storage: support@wontah.com (subject "Privacy").
