Ampe Rush · Legal
End User Licence
Last updated: 16 October 2026 · Effective: 16 October 2026
The short version
- You may install and play Ampe Rush on your own devices, for your own fun. You may not copy, resell or tamper with it.
- If you downloaded it from the Apple App Store, Apple's standard licence applies, together with our Terms and the Apple terms below.
- If you downloaded it from Google Play or play on the web, our Terms and this licence apply, along with Google Play's terms for the download.
- We, not Apple or Google, are responsible for the game and its support.
1.Which licence applies to you
| How you got Ampe Rush | Your licence |
|---|---|
| Apple App Store (iPhone, iPad) | Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement ("Apple Standard EULA"), plus our Terms of Service, plus sections 2 to 5 of this page. |
| Google Play (Android) | Sections 2 to 4 of this page and our Terms of Service. The Google Play Terms of Service apply to the download itself. |
| Web game (ampe.wontah.com/play) | Sections 2 to 4 of this page and our Terms of Service |
For App Store users: if Apple's Standard EULA and our Terms conflict about the licence to use the app, Apple's Standard EULA wins. Our Terms add the game rules: accounts, Virtual Items, fair play and so on.
2.The licence
Adinan Alhassan, trading as Wontah ("we"), gives you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, revocable licence to download, install and use Ampe Rush (the "Licensed Application") for your own non-commercial entertainment, on devices you own or control. For App Store copies, that means Apple-branded devices, as the App Store's Usage Rules allow, including Family Sharing where it is offered. The licence includes the updates we provide, unless an update comes with its own terms.
3.What you may not do
- Copy the Licensed Application (except as the store's rules allow), or modify, translate or create derivative works of it.
- Decompile, reverse engineer, disassemble or try to derive its source code, except where, and only as far as, the law allows it despite this restriction.
- Rent, lease, lend, sell, redistribute or sublicense it, or use it to provide a commercial service.
- Get around its security, score verification or technical limits, or use it in breach of the Fair Play & Community Rules.
- Remove or change any copyright, trademark or other notices.
4.Ownership, ending the licence, and your rights
- The Licensed Application is licensed, not sold. We, and our licensors, keep all rights not expressly granted to you. Ampe itself, Adinkra symbols and kente are shared cultural heritage, and we claim no ownership of them (see Terms §5).
- The licence lasts until you or we end it. It ends automatically if you materially break this licence or the Terms. When it ends, you must stop using the game and delete it. You can end it at any time by deleting the game and your account.
- The disclaimers, the limits on liability and your non-excludable consumer rights are set out in Terms §13–14. Governing law and disputes are in Terms §15.
5.Apple App Store terms
If you got Ampe Rush from the Apple App Store, you and we also agree that:
- Acknowledgement. This licence and our Terms are between you and us only, not with Apple Inc. ("Apple"). We, not Apple, are solely responsible for the Licensed Application and its content.
- Scope of licence. Your licence is limited to a non-transferable licence to use the Licensed Application on Apple-branded products that you own or control, as permitted by the Usage Rules in the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions. The exception is that it may be accessed and used by other accounts associated with you through Family Sharing or volume purchasing.
- Maintenance and support. We alone are responsible for providing maintenance and support for the Licensed Application, as described in our Terms and on this site (contact: support@wontah.com), or as the law requires. Apple has no obligation to provide any maintenance or support services.
- Warranty. We alone are responsible for any product warranties, whether express or implied by law, that are not effectively disclaimed. If the Licensed Application fails to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple will refund the purchase price (if any) of the Licensed Application to you. To the maximum extent the law allows, Apple has no other warranty obligation for the Licensed Application. Any other claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs or expenses caused by a failure to conform to a warranty are our sole responsibility, to the extent they are not disclaimed under our Terms.
- Product claims. We, not Apple, are responsible for addressing any claims by you or any third party relating to the Licensed Application, or to your possession or use of it. These include (a) product liability claims; (b) any claim that it fails to conform to any applicable legal or regulatory requirement; and (c) claims under consumer protection, privacy or similar laws, including in connection with its use of the HealthKit and HomeKit frameworks (Ampe Rush uses neither). Our Terms do not limit our liability to you beyond what the applicable law permits.
- Intellectual property. If a third party claims that the Licensed Application, or your possession and use of it, infringes their intellectual property rights, we, not Apple, are solely responsible for investigating, defending, settling and discharging that claim.
- Legal compliance. You confirm that (a) you are not located in a country that is subject to a U.S. Government embargo, or that has been designated by the U.S. Government as a "terrorist supporting" country; and (b) you are not listed on any U.S. Government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
- Developer contact. Questions, complaints or claims about the Licensed Application go to: Adinan Alhassan, trading as Wontah, Ghana. Email support@wontah.com. A postal address for written notices is available on request at that email address.
- Third-party terms. You must comply with applicable third-party terms when using the Licensed Application, for example the terms of your mobile network or of Google, Apple or Facebook sign-in.
- Third-party beneficiary. Apple and Apple's subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of this licence and our Terms. Once you accept them, Apple will have the right (and will be deemed to have accepted the right) to enforce them against you as a third-party beneficiary.
6.Google Play
If you got Ampe Rush from Google Play, the Google Play Terms of Service and the Google Play Business and Program Policies apply to your download and to payments, alongside this licence and our Terms. Google is not a party to this licence and is not responsible for the game. Purchases and refunds go through Google Play (see Virtual Items §9).
